  • A would-be victim managed to escape from her attacker fairly easily on November 30. Police said Desiree Riccitelli, 20, was parked at the corner of Deklyn and Chestnut avenues at about 2:15 p.m. Friday, when she was approached by a man asking for a cigarette. When Riccitelli told him she didn’t smoke, police said the man pulled a knife and demanded money. The driver simply rolled up the auto’s window and drove away. Riccitelli still called police, however, and even attempted to tail the man with her car but lost track of him. The suspect was described as a black male, 40 to 50 years old, 6-foot, 170 pounds and wearing black clothing.

     

  • A store owner was a victim of a strong-arm robbery on Cleveland Avenue at about 8:15 pm on Thursday. After Julio Gerena, 59, closed Cleveland Deli and walked to his car, four men pushed him from behind into the vehicle and demanded money at about 8:15 p.m. When he was told to "give it up" Gerena handed over all the cash he had and the suspects left the area, according to police.  The store owner told police the robbers were three black men wearing all black and another black man wearing a red sweatshirt.
  • Thursday, November 29, at about 8:00 pm 39 year old Arbuyaes Taylor was assaulted and robbed of $200 while walking along the 500 block of Hamilton Avenue. The suspects were described as two black men, one wearing a leather jacket and the other wearing a white hat.
  • 38 year old James L. Johnson of Ewing was accosted by a man with a gun while walking in the 500 block of Hoffman Avenue at about 8:59 pm on Wednesday, November 28.
  • On Wednesday, November 28, a home on the 800 block of Quinton Avenue was burglarized.  Among the items taken were a Glock .40 caliber handgun, ammunition, jewelry and a computer.
  • An  unknown assailant shot Jabari Cross, 27, early Sunday morning, Nov. 25, near Hart Avenue and North Clinton Avenue.  Cross was a fugitive wanted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.  His assailant is described as a black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and possibly driving an SUV.
  • Martynique Ferguson, 22, had her car hijacked from her at gunpoint at about 10:15 pm, Saturday night, November 24, near the intersection of Ashmore Avenue and Anderson Street.  Police have released a description of the three suspects. One is listed as a 6-foot-tall black male of medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. The other two are simply described as black males wearing hooded sweatshirts.
     
  • At approximately 12 Noon on Friday, November 23, 29 year old Marquis Brown was attacked and cut on the shoulder by an unknown assailant with what appeared to be a box cutter.  There is no known motive for the attack that took place near the intersection of Cooper and Sheppard Streets in South Trenton.  No description of the attacker was given.                             
  • A 23-year-old city man is in critical condition after being shot by intruders in his home early Thursday, November 22. Police said that the victim, whose name was not released, was at his home on the first block of Wall Street and in bed with his girlfriend just before 3 a.m. Three intruders allegedly entered by kicking open the back door and went into the victim's bedroom, where one of the intruders shot the man. All the suspects immediately fled. The girlfriend was uninjured. One suspect has been arrested, two others are still sought.
     
  • At about 11:30 pm, Wednesday, November 21, three men invaded an apartment in the Rowan Towers on West State Street and robbed the two occupants at gunpoint.  Police said one of the suspects was a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with brown skin, shoulder length braids, black baseball hat, purple hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black handgun. The second suspect was described as a 6 foot tall black male, with a black skull cap, blue jeans, and a pump shotgun. The third alleged intruder was a black male with straight braids.
     
  • A 40 year old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the head at 12:01 a.m., Monday, November 19.  The shooting occurred in the 100 block of Franklin Street and may be connected to the death of Mackenzie Paul the previous Saturday night.
  • At 11:30 Saturday night, November 17, Mackenzie Paul of Hamilton Township was found lying wounded in front of a house in the 400 block of Lamberton Street in Trenton.  The youth succumbed to his wounds early the next morning.   He had been the victim of a shooting incident last month in Hamilton that is believed to be gang related.
  • 84 year old Jerry Eure, Sr. was found dead in his home in the 900 block of Edgewood Avenue on Wednesday, November 1Arrests made4.  Police are seeking information identifying the individual or individuals that are responsible for this homicide.
  • An armed robbery occurred about 10:35 pm, Sunday November 11 in the 900 block of Anderson Street.  Fausto Ramos, 31, was accosted as he left the Flamingo Bar.  The suspect is described as a 30 year old black male, stocky build, wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark sneakers.
  • The vehicle of a 47 year old female was riddled with gunshots as she drove past the intersection of Rosemount and Elmhurst Avenues at about 1:05 p.m. Sunday, November 11.  Neither the driver or the passenger were injured.  The shooter is described as a black male who was standing on the corner aiming a gun at them.
  • At approximately 1:40 a.m., Sunday November 11, Corey Brown, 25, was robbed of his wallet and its contents and stabbed in the lower right back while attempting to get money from an ATM machine at 222 North Hermitage Avenue.  The suspects are listed as three black males.
  • Jason Reeves, 28, was found laying in the street at the intersection of Academy and North Montgomery Streets at about 3:00 am Sunday November 4.  Mr. Reeves had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
  • Responding to a "shots fired" call, Trenton police discover a vehicle with it's rear window shot out and recover a shotgun nearby the scene on Ellsworth Avenue at about 9:00 pm on Saturday, November 3.
  • At about 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 3 police respond to a call of a man wounded by gunshots on Daymond Street.  Dennis Merritt, 30, was reportedly shot by three black males.
  • At 1:12 am Saturday, November 3, Jermaine Hunt, 31, was approached by an African-American male, 25 years of age, 190 pounds, dressed all in black, who stated he had a gun and demanded Mr. Hunt's money.  Hunt complied and wasn't injured.
  • Friday, November 2, a 17 year old male is shot in the abdomen while sitting on the porch of a home in the 100 block of Hoffman Avenue.
  • At about 1:21 a.m., November 1, 28 year old Jose Roman was stabbed in the chest while standing near the intersection of E. Hanover Street and N. Stockton Street in Trenton.  The suspect is described as an African-American male wearing a black hooded sweatsuit.
