  • December 9 -- An aggravated sexual assault/kidnapping incident occurred on Wednesday, at approximately 7:00 pm  in the first block of Washington Street, Trenton, NJ.  The victim was a 27-year-old Hispanic female.  It was reported that while the victim was walking home an unknown suspect grabbed and pulled her into the breezeway of two residences.  The victim attempted to get away from the suspect, but he continued to force her deeper into the breezeway.  At this time the suspect punched the victim in the face.  While continuously assaulting the victim the suspect started to forcefully remove the victim’s clothing. During this time a female witness saw what was occurring and immediately went back inside her residence and alerted a male witness, who came outside armed with a baseball bat. The suspect was scared away by the armed Good Samaritan.  The suspect was described as a 23 to 24 black male, 5’05” to 5’05”, thin build thin long face, small beard on chin, last seen wearing dark colored long sleeve shirt, blue jeans tan work boots and a black ski mask.

     
  • December 7 -- An aggravated assault/shooting occurred at the Rodriguez Mini-Market, 808 Stuyvesant Avenue, on Monday at approximately 12:30 pm. The victim was Juan D. Herrera-Rodriguez, 42.  It was reported that while the victim was working the cash register an unknown person entered the store and began to use profanities and deal drugs.  The victim demanded for the suspect to leave, at which time the suspect said that he would be back. The suspect walked out of the store, crossed the street and began to fire a gun at the victim’s direction. No one was injured.   After firing several shots the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 22 to 23 years old, 5’06” to 5’07”. With black hair and brown skin, wearing blue jeans, dark blue jacket. 

     
  • December 4 -- An aggravated assault occurred on Friday, at approximately 12:10 am on 12th floor of Rowan Towers, 620 West State Street, Trenton. The victim was a 16-year-old juvenile and her assailant was Sharelle Allen, 24, of Trenton, NJ.  It was reported that the 16 year old and the 24 year old were involved in a verbal argument, which escalated to a physical altercation.  During the physical altercation the suspect used a box cutter to cut the victim across the left side of her face.  The victim was treated at Capital Health System at Fuld and received numerous sutures to close the wound.  There are active warrants for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon for the arrest of Sharelle Allen, (5'01", brown hair, brown eyes and light skin tone). 

  • December 1 --  An aggravated assault occurred on Tuesday at approximately 12:15 am in the first block of Laurel Street, Trenton, NJ. The victim was Javard Lane, 36, of Trenton, NJ. It was reported that the victim arrived at Capital Health System at Mercer seeking medical assistance to his injury.  During the investigation it was learned that the victim was involved in a verbal argument with an unknown suspect and that during the argument the suspect stabbed the victim.  The victim suffered two-puncture wound to the left side of the abdomen, but his injury was considered as non-life threatening.  Due to the victim’s uncooperative attitude, Trenton Police couldn't get any further information concerning the incident.
